Recipe Ingredients for Basic Ground Beef Stew

1 lb ground beef
1 onion
4 carrot
4 potato
160 g celery
1 g bay leaf
4 cups water
20 g spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp curry
1 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for Basic Ground Beef Stew

  1. brown beef in large pot

  2. add onions and celery, stir for 4 -5 minutes

  3. add stock and all other ingredients

  4. simmer for 3 hours - longer is better.

  5. substitute 2 cups low sodium beef or chicken broth for a richer 'feel'.
