Recipe Ingredients for Basic Green Smoothie

5 cups spinach
3 cups apple
1 1/2 cups pear
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
3 cups water or brewed green tea

Recipe Directions for Basic Green Smoothie

  1. I combine this together at night minus the liquid which I add prior to blending.

  2. Put in order of the lightest (ground flaxseed) on the bottom, then the spinach, and the fruit(s) and last the liquid.

  3. Blend - start gradually at a low speed until all the ingredients are combined then increase the speed until well blended.

  4. Enjoy!
