Multi-purpose dough for cinnamon rolls, sticky bun, cheese rolls. No frosting. No filling.

Recipe Ingredients for basic dough for sticky buns, rolls

2 cup Whole Milk
0.5 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.5 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
4.5 cup All Purpose Flour
2 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Baking Powder
2.25 tsp Active Dry Yeast

Recipe Directions for basic dough for sticky buns, rolls

  1. Scald 2 cups milk, 1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup sugar in dutch oven. Turn off heat. Leave for an hour until lukewarm.

  2. Add yeast and let stand for 3 minutes. Add 4 cups of flour, mix, cover and let rest for 1 hour until risen.

  3. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. and mix. Cover and leave for an hour or up to 2 days in the ref.
