whole grain dinner rolls, i use king arthur white wheat flour. the butter can be reduced or left out. I use instant yeast for this recipe, active dry yeast will need to be "proofed"

Recipe Ingredients for basic dinner rolls

3 cups flour
3 cups whole grain flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp yeast
2 cups water
4 tbsp unsalted butter

Recipe Directions for basic dinner rolls

Add dry ingredients to mixer bowl, put butter in water, heat to 120degrees. cool slightly. Add to mixer bowl, mix with dough hook 5-10 minutes til smooth and elastic. put in greased bowl to rise 45min or doubled. shape into rools, place in greased pan, let rise 45min or til doubled. bake at 375 til golden about 20-25 minutes
