One of our favorites, with chicken instead of ground beef, all done in a crockpot to minimize amount of time actually spent cooking!

Recipe Ingredients for Basic Crockpot Chicken Chili

4 piece Chicken Half Breasts
43 1/2 oz Mexican style stewed Tomatoes
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 dash worcestershire sauce
3 1/2 serving (meijer) Black Beans, canned, drained and rinsed
3 1/2 serving (meijer) Dark Red Kidney beans, canned, drained
3 1/2 serving (meijer) great northern beans

Recipe Directions for Basic Crockpot Chicken Chili

  1. Put everything into a large crockpot with the chicken breasts on the bottom. They can be frozen.

  2. Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 8 hours.

  3. Cut up chicken into cubes when chili is finished.
