Recipe Ingredients for Basic chicken pasta dinner

1/2 lb chicken breast
1/2 lb dry whole wheat pasta
1/2 green bell pepper
4 oz mushrooms
14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes
2 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Basic chicken pasta dinner

  1. chop and cook chicken in a skillet with a little oil

  2. add and cook veggies until tender

  3. when veggies are cooked, add tomatoes and tomato paste

  4. meanwhile, boil and drain pasta, when pasta is done, mix all ingredients together.

  5. May add some chopped garlic and onion to the chicken and veggie mixture. Some Italian seasoning would be delicious as well.
