Basic cheese pizza recipe. Dough, sauce, and cheese. No other toppings included.

Recipe Ingredients for Basic cheese pizza

3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. water
2 tbs. yeast
2 tbs. honey
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
8 oz. mozzarella cheese
8 oz. tomato sauce
15 oz. chopped tomato
2 tbs. Italian seasoning

Recipe Directions for Basic cheese pizza

  1. Dough

  2. Mix warm water, honey, salt and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Add all olive oil and 1c. of flour at a time until well blended into a ball.

  4. Once dough is balled, kneed on floured surface for about a minute.

  5. Place in bowl and let rise for 45 min.

  6. Deflate, and let rise for another 90 min.

  7. Roll flat and bake at 400 until light brown.

  8. Sauce

  9. Mix tomatoes, sauce, and seasoning. Cook to hot. Put on crust when after you take it out of the oven

  10. Shred 8 oz. of mozzarella to top pizza.

  11. Cook to desired doneness.
