Makes a pizza. Add onions, bell peppers, turkey pepperoni, etc to finish.

Recipe Ingredients for Basic cheese pizza before toppings

1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast
1 cup warm water
1 tbs. olive oil
5 oz mozzarella cheese
1 cup tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Basic cheese pizza before toppings

  1. Put first five ingredients in food processor. Add water to blend and make a ball. Process for 20 seconds.

  2. Wait five minutes, then process again for 20 seconds.

  3. Remove to floured board and kneed for one minute and make into a ball. Place ball in oiled bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm area until doubled, about 1 hour.

  4. Punch down and kneed for 1 minute. Return to bowl and cover. Let rise until doubled, again.

  5. Roll out with rolling pin. Place on pizza pan and add sauce and cheese and whatever toppings you like.

  6. Bake in preheated 515 degree oven (middle shelf) for 13 minutes.

  7. Slice into eight slices.
