Amish style apple salad. Add raisins, nuts, and coconut if desired.

Recipe Ingredients for Basic Apple Salad

1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup water
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 eggs
6 cups apple, sliced

Recipe Directions for Basic Apple Salad

Mix all ingredients except apples into a saucepan. Cook until thick. Pour over apples. Serve warm or cold.
