That's what I call a good start. A perfectly balanced breakfast salad that will keep you going until noon.

Recipe Ingredients for Bart's Breakfast Power Up

1 small Carrots
1 serving Sante Rye Bran
1 Kiwi Fruit, (Chinese Gooseberries), Fresh
120 grams Tuna, Light, Canned In Water
50 grams Corn, Sweet, Yellow
50 grams Onions
3 teaspoon Spicy Brown Mustard
50 grams Yogurt Plain Low Fat
10 grams Walnuts, English
1 tsp Pepper, Black
50 grams Peppers, Sweet, Red

Recipe Directions for Bart's Breakfast Power Up

  1. 1. Drain tuna (if you don't have the "no salt added" version but the salted one, drain it first, then cover it with a lot of water, stir and let stand a bit then drain) and corn.

  2. 2.Chop all the ingredients as fine or coarse as you like.

  3. 3. Soak bran in hot water for 5 minutes if you like it to taste more like rice, or add raw bran if you like the more rough taste.

  4. 4. Toast walnuts for more flavor.

  5. 5. Mix and enjoy.
