Tasty baked pearl barley side dish

Recipe Ingredients for Barley Pilaf

2 cups Pearled Barley
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
5 tsp Better Than Bouillon Beef Base
5 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Barley Pilaf

Chop and saute onion in a little water or olive oil. Add water, beef soup base, and 1 T. Kirkland No-salt Organic Seasoning, bring to a boil. Put barley in a 8x8 baking dish and pour water mixture over. Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees F for abt. 50 minutes, until liquid is absorbed and barley is tender.
