Recipe Ingredients for Barley and lentil soup

1/3 cup pearled barley
1/2 cup lentils
1/2 cup onion
4 oz lean beef
2 carrots
3 cups water
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Barley and lentil soup

  1. Cook barley- 1 hour

  2. cook lentils- 1 hour

  3. combine and add 1/2 cup onion chopped and 3 cups of water.

  4. Cook carrots separately or add to soup after cutting into carrot coins.

  5. Add 2 tsp. instant boullion.
