Recipe Ingredients for Barley Chili

28 ounce diced tomatoes
14 1/2 ounce diced tomatoes
1 c onions, diced
1 c carrots, diced
1 T canola oil
2 T cumin
1 t cinnamon
0.57 c pearl barley
1/2 c black beans
1/2 c red kidney beans
4 c fat free low sodium chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Barley Chili

  1. saute onions and carrots in 2 tsp oil for 10 min

  2. add 1 T garlic and 1 tsp oil, 30 sec

  3. add spices

  4. add tomatoes, barley, and chicken broth, 30 min

  5. add beans, 15 min
