Recipe Ingredients for Barbara's Sausage Gravy

12 oz Pork Sausage
3 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
2 tsp Beef Base
1/4 cup Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for Barbara's Sausage Gravy

Brown sausage in a non-stick skillet, cook thoroughly. Drain on paper towels. In a sauce pan, melt 1 tbsp. Smart Balance; whisk together 3 cups of milk and 6 tbsps. of flour, pour into saucepan, whisk together with melted Smart Balance. Add 2 tsps. Better Than Bouillon Beef Base, add 1 tbsp. ground black pepper. Heat on medium heat, stirring occasionally until thickened. Server over hot split biscuits.
