Delicious and quick to make! I use an old coffee mill to grind the fennel seeds.

Recipe Ingredients for Barbara's Pork Loin Back Ribs with Ground Fennel Rub

2 1/2 lbs. pork, loin, back ribs, rinsed and patted dry
3 tbsp. fennel seed, ground
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Recipe Directions for Barbara's Pork Loin Back Ribs with Ground Fennel Rub

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Rub pork ribs with ground fennel, both sides, salt and pepper.Place in a large baking pan with raised sides, on rack.

  2. Roast in oven for 20 to 30 minutes, turn over, pour water in bottoom on pan and continue cooking for 20 minutes longer.

  3. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before cutting ribs.
