Recipe Ingredients for Bar B Q Beef Short Ribs

4 lbs beef ribs (boneless)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/3 cup flour
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 medium yellow onions, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup chili sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 cup beef broth

Recipe Directions for Bar B Q Beef Short Ribs

In a large bag, combine the flour and salt and pepper, add the ribs a few at a time and coat with flour mixture. Heat the olive oil and brown the ribs on each side. Remove the ribs and place them in the slow cooker. In the pan add the onions and saute lightly. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and pour over the ribs in the slow cooker. Turn the slow cooker to low and allow to cook for 6 to 8 hours.
