Prep time 20 minutes bake 1 hour cool 10 minutes. Has less oil than most breads but you don't miss it because of the extra bananas.

Recipe Ingredients for Bananna Nut Bread

1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 bananas
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 tbsp canola oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Recipe Directions for Bananna Nut Bread

  1. Stir together first 4 ingredients in a large bowl, make a well in teh center of mixture

  2. Stir together bananas and next 4 ingredients; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Gently fold in pecans

  3. Pour batter into 9x5 inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray

  4. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes to 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack
