Delicious pancakes, just eat a couple of 6 in. size. I use cane sugar and can also be made with egg whites.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Walnut Pancakes

1 1/2 cups Cake Flour
1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbs. dry buttermilk powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup skim milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbs. melted butter or canola oil
1/2 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Walnut Pancakes

  1. Toast cup chopped walnuts

  2. Mix dry ingredients thoroughly.

  3. Lightly beat the eggs and combine with the other wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients.

  4. Fold in cup diced ripe banana and toasted walnuts.

  5. Chill for minimum of 20 minutes, can make the night before.

  6. Cook pancakes cup at a time over medium grill.

  7. Serve with warm butter, maple and blueberry syrup.

  8. Melt 4 tbs. butter, add cup maple syrup and cup blueberries. Warm thoroughly.
