3.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1.67 cup Organics All Purpose Flour Unbleached
1 tsp Baking Soda
0.25 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Sea Salt
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
6 tsp Sugars, Granulated
2 egg Extra Large Grade AA Eggs
0.5 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
2 tablespoons Light Sour Cream
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.67 cup, in shell, edible yield (7 nuts) Walnuts, English

Recipe Directions for Banana Walnut Bread

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees F. Line the bottom of a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Beat sugar and eggs with a whisk until light and fluffy, about 10 minutes. Drizzle in oil. Add mashed bananas, creme fraiche, and vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into a lined loaf pan and bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
