Recipe Ingredients for Banana Walnut Bread

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking soda
8 mashed bananas
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Walnut Bread

  1. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth.

  2. Add eggs and vanilla.

  3. Sift together flour, nutmeg and baking soda.

  4. Add to creamed butter mixture.

  5. Add bananas and walnuts; mix until just blended.

  6. Divide into 2 small loaf pans.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 min.
