Recipe Ingredients for Banana Split Dessert--Light

1 cup crackers, graham
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp margarine
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
16 oz crushed pineapple
3 large sliced bananas
16 oz Whipped Cream, reduced fat

Recipe Directions for Banana Split Dessert--Light

  1. Combine the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and margarine for the crust.

  2. Cream together the cream cheese, powdered sugr, and vanilla (I use neufchatel for fewer calories and lower fat content)and spread over the top of the crust.

  3. Drain the pineapples and layer them on top of the creamed cheese mixture.

  4. Layer the bananas over the top of the pineapples.

  5. Top with reduced fat whipped cream and chill for an hour.
