I found this original recipe on a cooking website and tweeked it a little to make it more healthy and less fattening.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Sour Cream Bread

2 tsp. white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 cups white sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas, mashed
8 ounce fat free sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour

Recipe Directions for Banana Sour Cream Bread

  1. Lightly spray 2 loaf pans with cooking spray and coat the pan with a mixture of 2 tsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

  2. Cream butter, applesauce, and 1 1/2 cups sugar in bowl. Add the eggs, very ripe bananas, sour cream, vanilla, cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt. Mix until combined. Add the baking soda and flour. Pour into 2 loaf pans evenly. Bake at 300 degrees F for one hour or until the fork inserted in the middle comes out clean.
