Recipe Ingredients for Banana Sour Cream Bread

1/4 cup Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
3/4 cup Butter
3 cups Sugar
3 Eggs
6 Bananas, Mashed
16 ounces Sour Cream
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
3 tsp Baking Soda
4 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Walnuts, Chopped (optional)

Recipe Directions for Banana Sour Cream Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease four 7X3 loaf pans.

  3. In a small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup sugar and 1 TSP cinnamon.

  4. Dust pans lightly with cinnamon mixture.

  5. In a large bowl, cream butter and 3 cups sugar.

  6. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon.

  7. Mix in salt, baking soda and flour.

  8. Stir in nuts, if using.

  9. Divide into prepared pans.

  10. Bake for 1 hour, until bread tests done; otherwise cook another 20 minutes and retest.
