Yummy banana pancakes. Replaced most of the oil with applesauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Pancakes

1.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup(245 g) Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
0.06 cup 1% Lowfat Cottage Cheese, Small Curd, No Salt Added
2 tsp Baking Powder
0.13 cup Cinnamon Classic Flavors
0.5 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 large Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Banana Pancakes

  1. Combine flour, white sugar, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, mix together egg, milk, vegetable oil and bananas.

  2. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be slightly lumpy.

  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides; serve hot.
