Healthy version of banana pancakes

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Pancakes

1 cup white whole wheat flour
1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 Egg, Whole
1 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons applesauce
2 ripe bananas

Recipe Directions for Banana Pancakes

  1. Combine dry ingredients and make a well in center.

  2. Combine wet ingredients including mashed banana and add to dry ingredients. Mix just until moistened (batter will be lumpy).

  3. Cook on a hot griddle or frying pan sprayed with canola oil cooking spray for about 2 minutes over medium heat, each side.
