Recipe Ingredients for Banana Oatmeal

1 medium banana
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup 1% milk
1 tbsp maple syrup

Recipe Directions for Banana Oatmeal

  1. Combine milk and oatmeal and cook according to stove top directions or cook on high in microwave for 90 seconds.

  2. While oatmeal is cooking, peel banana and mash with a fork in a separate bowl until liquid-like.

  3. Add syrup to mashed banana and combine.

  4. Combine banana mixture with cooked oatmeal and stir together.

  5. Top with walnut pieces for longer lasting satiety (optional)
