Recipe Ingredients for Banana Oatmeal Muffins (from cooks.com)

1 c. all purpose flour (may use half whole wheat)
2 tbsp. apple sauce
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. mashed bananas, approximately 3 bananas
1/2 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
1/2 c. non-fat milk
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten

Recipe Directions for Banana Oatmeal Muffins (from cooks.com)

  1. Combine all dry ingredients.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients and stir well.

  3. Add to dry ingredients and stir just to moisten.

  4. Use muffin papers and fill 2/3 full.

  5. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

  6. Yields 1 dozen.
