Very healthy banana bread, husband loves it, very young nieces love it!

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Oatmeal Bread

0.5 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1/2 cup Natural Apple Sauce
2 large Egg, Whole
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
0.25 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Flaxseed Meal
0.5 cup Blueberries
2 tbsp Special Dark Chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Oatmeal Bread

  1. mix together 1st 5 wet ingredients

  2. add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, ground flax seed

  3. add half of oatmeal and banana/milk mixture

  4. add rest of oatmeal and banana/milk

  5. I usually add finely diced walnuts unless someone I'm making it for doesn't like them

  6. I divide mixture in half and make 2 loaves, 1 with chocolate chips, 1 with blueberries or raspberries
