Makes 1 Loaf of Banana Oat-Nut Bread

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Oat-Nut Bread

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 large Bananas
1 cup Sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup Canola Oil
1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup Oatmeal
1/3 cup Chopped Pecans

Recipe Directions for Banana Oat-Nut Bread

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 5x9-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray; dust with flour, shaking out excess.

  2. 2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl.

  3. 3. Mash bananas in large bowl; whisk in sugar, egg, oil, applesauce, and vanilla until blended. Add banana mixture to flour mixture blending until flour mixture is moistened (do not over-mix). Scrape batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

  4. 4. Bake until deep golden brown and toothpick inserted into center of bread comes out clean, about 1hr 15min - 1hr 25min. Let cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan and let cool completely on rack.
