Banana Oat Chocolate Chip Muffins

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Oat Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup oats
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup banana, mashed
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Oat Chocolate Chip Muffins

  1. Combine flour, oats, sugars, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside.

  2. Beat egg, stir in milk, applesauce, and vanilla.

  3. Add mashed banana.

  4. Stir in flour mixture until just combined.

  5. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.

  6. Bake in sprayed muffin cups in 400 degree oven for 18-20 minutes.
