So good in the morning. If you want an extra special treat add dark choco chips before serving or serve with a Tbs of peanutbutter. you can also do both but note the increase in calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana nut oatmeal

3/4 c Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
3/4 c water
1/4 c skim milk
2 tbs light brown sugar
1/4 cup walnuts
1 banana

Recipe Directions for Banana nut oatmeal

  1. get a medium pot-medium heat

  2. spray with non stick spray

  3. add walnuts and cook toasting 1-2 minutes

  4. chop banana and cook 1-2 minutes

  5. add brown sugar cook approx 30 seconds

  6. add water and milk and boil

  7. when boiling add oats and turn off

  8. stir
