Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Muffins

3 cup Whole Wheat Flour
2.5 large (8" to 8-7/8" long) Bananas
1.5 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
1 tsp Pepper, White
1 tsp Cloves, Ground
1 dash Salt, Table
2 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
0.33 cup pieces or chips Walnuts, English
0.69 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
1 large Egg, Whole
0.75 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 oz Corn Oil

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and oil muffin pan.

  2. Chop and measure the walnuts.

  3. Mix dry ingredients.

  4. Puree banana in a blender, mix with wet ingredients.

  5. Combine all ingredients, spoon into muffin pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
