Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Muffins

3/4 cup mashed bananas
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup Splenda sugar blend
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream apple sauce, Splenda sugar blend, and mashed banana with an electric mixer.

  3. Mix in a separate bowl flour, wheat germ, baking soda, and salt.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the rest of the ingredients using the mixer.

  5. Add the chopped walnuts.

  6. Fill 12 muffin tins 3/4 full.

  7. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
