Banana nut muffins with added fiber and protein

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Muffins with Flax Seed & Whey Protein

1 1/2 c Flour
2 scoops whey powder
2 T flax seed
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter
2 large eggs
4 bananas
3/4 c walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Muffins with Flax Seed & Whey Protein

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F

  2. Combine flour, whey powder, flax seed, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Smash in bananas and add scrambled eggs. Mix.

  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and add walnuts.

  5. Pour batter into muffin tins and bake for 25 minutes.
