Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread

4 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
0.33 cup Butter
3/4 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 large Egg, Whole
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
3/4 cup, sliced Almonds
1 dash Salt, Table
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 tsp Nutmeg, Ground

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Mix melted butter with mashed bananas.

  3. Mix in sugar, egg, vanilla, and 1 T bourbon if desired, then spices.

  4. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over mixture, mix in.

  5. Add flour, stir until just incorporated.

  6. Pour into large 4 X 8 pan.

  7. Bake ~1 hour.
