Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread

1 1/4 cup flour, white unbleached
1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons canola oil
3/4 cup 2% milk
1 egg
3 bananas, mashed
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Grease and flour 9x5x3-inch load pan.

  3. Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl.

  4. Beat on medium speed 1/2 minute, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly.

  5. Pour into pan.

  6. Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

  7. Remove from pan; cool thoroughly before slicing.
