Really delicious, delicate and moist. In spite of high calories, I want to make it again. Original recipe calls for sour cream; I used yogurt. From Epicurious.com

Recipe Ingredients for Banana-Nut Bread

1/4 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon yogurt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup banana, mashed, ripe (2 bananas)
1 cup white flour
1 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Recipe Directions for Banana-Nut Bread

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan. Combine yogurt and baking soda in small bowl. Using electric mixer, cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Beat in eggs, bananas and sour cream mixture. Sift in flour and baking powder. Stir in nuts. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean and loaf is golden brown, about 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pan. turn loaf out onto rack and cool completely.
