Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread or Muffins

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 cup bananas
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Bread or Muffins

Cream margarine sugar and eggs. Add soda to buttermilk; add buttermilk bananas, beat well. Add the rest of the dry ingredients and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan and bake at 350 degree for 1 hour. For muffins line pan with paper cups and fill 2/3 full bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes. Makes 12-15 muffins.
