Quick and easy banana bread. 1 serving equals a half a muffin or 1 thing slice (50 g)

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread/Muffins

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup mashed banana
1/4 cup chopped pecan nuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Bread/Muffins

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine sugar and applesauce and mix well.

  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.

  4. Sift in dry ingredients and mix well.

  5. Add mashed bananas and nuts and mix well.

  6. Scrape mixture into a loaf tin or divide into 8 muffin cups. Bake 1 hour for loaf or 30-35 minutes for muffins.
