Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread with Chocolate Chips & Nuts

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. splenda
1/4 c. smart balance
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. bananas
1/2 c. lowfat buttermilk
1 t. vanilla
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 c. walnuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 T. cinnamon
1/2 T. nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Bread with Chocolate Chips & Nuts

Blend sugar, splenda, smart balance and butter. Stir in eggs. Add mashed bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir in flour, oatmeal and wheat germ until moistened. Add baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips, if desired. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
