Recipe Ingredients for Banana Nut Bran Muffins

1 cup boiling water
2 cups All bran cereal
3 bananas
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cups All bran cereal
1 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Nut Bran Muffins

  1. In a large bowl, add boiling water to the first 2 cups of bran cereal, cool.

  2. Cream banana, sugar, eggs, and buttermilk together.

  3. Add to bran mixture.

  4. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in the 12 cups of bran cereal. Stir only until moistened.

  5. Bake in a preheated 425 degree F (220 degree C) oven for 20 to 25 minutes
