3/4 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup whole wheat flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp salt 3 tbsp. SPLENDA Brown sugar

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Muffins

0.25 cup Whole Wheat Flour
0.75 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 dash Salt, Table
1 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
0.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
1/2 cup Apple Sauce Unsweetened Organics
1 large Egg, Whole

Recipe Directions for Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease muffin tin or use paper muffin liners.

  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat banana, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir in applesauce.

  4. Stir in flour mixture.

  5. Pour batter into muffin cups. About 3/4 full.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.

  7. If you use paper liners, the muffins stick to the paper until they have set awhile.

  8. Makes 12 servings
