Makes 12 servings



Great breakfast muffin with some fruit on the side and a bit of milk. You can also add a 1/2 cup of berries or chocolate chips (chocolate chips puts this just over 200 cal). I often make 24 mini muffins instead of 12 large so that my kids will eat them too!

Recipe Ingredients for Banana muffins

3 med bananas
1/2 cup sugar
6 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce
1 large egg
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1 cup white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder

  1. Mix wet ingredients

  2. Mix dry ingredients

  3. Combine

  4. Bake 20 min @ 350
