Low Fat, Low Calorie Banana Muffins

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Muffins

2 large banana
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Mash bananas and beat with sugar, vanilla extract, egg, and apple sauce.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

  4. Fold dry ingredients into banana mixture.

  5. Grease a regular 12 muffin tin and spoon mixture into tin. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.
