A great alternative to dairy ice cream. The options are endless. Use any fresh, frozen, or dried fruit (you may want to soak these first) in place of the mango. You can also add pureed leafy greens or carrots, pumpkin, squash, etc to the frozen bananas for more nutrients and flavours!! Oh, I have also thrown in some cocoa powder and it makes a fantastic chocolate ice kreem! I think coconut or vanilla would be excellent too!

5 oz Bananas
1/2 cup, sliced Mangos

Recipe Directions for Banana Mango Ice Kreem

  1. Place frozen banana and mango chunks in food processor and process until smooth.

  2. Allow mango chunks to partially or fully thaw before processing if you want a softer end product. Fresh mango can also be used.
