Recipe Ingredients for Banana Ice Cream

2 large (8" to 8-7/8" long) Bananas
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Banana Ice Cream

  1. Be sure to use very ripe or overripe bananas. (I like green bananas myself, but they really just don't work well in this; they end up leaving a bitter aftertaste in your mouth)

  2. Slice up bananas and place on a plate to freeze.

  3. Freeze bananas for 1 - 2 hour until they are completely frozen.

  4. Pour about 1/2 cup of water in a blender (if you have a high speed blender you may not need to use as much water so start with 1/4 cup)

  5. Then add the frozen banana slices and blend until it's smooth and creamy.
