Recipe Ingredients for Banana Granola Bars

1 cup Cereal
1 1/2 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 tsp Nutmeg, Ground
3/4 cup, whole Almonds
1 cup (not packed) Raisins, Seedless
3 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
0.33 cup Pure Maple Syrup

Recipe Directions for Banana Granola Bars

  1. preheat oven to 325F.

  2. grease a 8x8 pan.

  3. mash 3 bananas (yields about 1.5 cup).

  4. mix in maple syrup.

  5. mix in spices, raisins, and chopped almonds.

  6. mix in bran cereal and oats.

  7. press mixture into the greased pan, pack tightly.

  8. bake for 25 minutes.

  9. cool pan in the freezer for about 1 hour.

  10. remove granola from pan, cut into bars.
