Banana Creme Brulee sounds sinful, but knowing all of the ingredients and making healthy substitues makes this a more satisfying indulgence.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Creme Brulee

1 cup Milk
1 1/2 cup, sliced Bananas
1/2 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
6 tsp Sugars, Granulated
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
7/20 grams Kosher Salt
2 large Egg, White
2 large Egg, Whole
6 tsp Sugars, Granulated

Recipe Directions for Banana Creme Brulee

  1. Preheat oven to 300.

  2. Combine all ingredients, except eggs, until smooth. (about 2 min.)

  3. Add eggs and combine until just smooth.

  4. Coat 6-6oz ramekins with cooking spray.

  5. Divide mixture even among all 6 ramekins.

  6. Place all 6 ramekins in a 13 x 9 inch baking pan and add hot water to a depth of one inch in that baking pan.

  7. Bake at 300 for 55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of a ramekin comes out clean.

  8. Remove ramekins from pan and sprinkle each with a 1/2 tsp sugar.

  9. At this point, you can either use the broiler to melt the sugar on top or a small torch to do the same.

  10. Enjoy
