Recipe Ingredients for Banana Chocolate Chip Walnut Muffins

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup almond breeze
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
1/3 cup walnuts, lightly toasted and chopped

Recipe Directions for Banana Chocolate Chip Walnut Muffins

  1. Preheat overn to 350 F and spray muffin pan.

  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix bananes, milk, and vanilla.

  3. Add wet mixture into center of dry and mix until just combined.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts (I always save a little for topping before putting into oven).

  5. Scoop into muffin tins and bake 15-20 minutes.
