Recipe Ingredients for Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1/4 cup All Bran Buds
1/4 cup bran
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup apple sauce
1 egg
3 bananas
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

  1. grind All Bran Buds into a flour

  2. put all dry ingredients into bowl, mix thoroughly and form a well in the center.

  3. beat egg in small bowl until frothy.

  4. Add milk, oil, banana and apple sauce.

  5. pour wet into dry flour mix and stir until just moistened.

  6. add chocolate chips by folding them in.

  7. fill greased muffin bups 3/4 full.

  8. bake 400F 18-20 minutes

  9. cool 5 mintes and then remove from pan.

  10. Makes 18
